This website is needs work. At least it does to me. But that’s okay.
I have sat on developing this site for way too long in the hope of making it just perfect. But perfect is the enemy of progress…the enemy of shipping.
The enemy of Art.
So today is the day that I start, and I hope that you it’s the day that you start, too. Because we need you.
My name is Travis Wilson. I am a coach. The purpose of this website is to highlight my thoughts, learnings, intuitions, blatherings, etc., as I grow into my own skin in this profession I love. Some of what you will read is inspirational, some stupid, some insightful, some a shrug of the shoulders.
But I am committing to this: every day there will be something new on the site. Every day. Without fail.
I just threw up a little bit in my mouth writing that last line. But that’s what’s supposed to happen when you’re creating something big. And this is big for me.
This is my Art, naked and exposed to the world.
If you are reading this, then it’s time for you to start living your Art.
Art knows not a profession, because we are all artists.
Art isn’t perfect, because life isn’t perfect.
Art is a manifestation of the love you put out into the universe.
As a coach, I aspire to help others live their Art. There’s too much at stake not to.
It’s time for us to wake up, to realize that we’ve been fed a bunch of lies. To not be cogs in the machine. I’m becoming more aware of this with every day that goes by. I see successful people lost and unsure of themselves. I see unsuccessful people struggling with “why?” And I see worker bees all around me.
I don’t want to be a worker bee any more. And neither should you.
It’s time to break out of your shell and realize your greatness. To stand boldly for your dreams and aspirations. To smile in the faces of those that laugh at you, call you names, and try to keep you safe.
It’s the time of the Malcontent.
Please join me in this new way of living. It’s hard, but it’s so worth it.
Here’s to our adventure together. Here’s to me cheerleading you. And here’s to living boldly.
