If you were given 60-minutes of smartphone browsing a day before you had to pay $10.00/minute once it was used up, how would that impact how you used it? Right now we have nearly limitless barriers to the invisible stream of non-stop data so we indulge, engorge, and become distracted. The higher the cost (which we assign), the more responsibility.
Ideally, though, we would manifest the discipline of being able to be unlimited but act responsibly. Which, if you think about it, isn’t all that different from what has been available to us before the digital age.
