Are you telling a story about your goal that resonates with the people who are ready to hear it?
I am willing to stake the effort on my belief that there is a group of people out there who want to take their careers to a level beyond what they currently are and to contribute in gracious, risky ways that will take their organizations and themselves to new heights. I believe that there are those out there who are willing to forego the trappings of our current “internet society” and intentionally curate their time and resources to make themselves the people the way to be. This is my picture; this is my story.
Right now, the story that I am telling is blurry, and I am working on making it clearer. There is still more work to be done: people to connect with, experiments to partake in, failures to learn from, successes to celebrate. I think there is a wider market out there and I know that I need to focus a lot more on that story.
My story four ways:
#1: I work with those who want to enhance their careers by sacrificing those things that aren’t helping them and picking up things that will.
#2: I add value to those who want to make their careers a study in leadership and fulfillment.
#3: I hold my clients’ feet to the fire by taking a stand for the people they want to be.
#4: I walk with my clients and help them notice the experience they are having so that they can more consciously choose what they want it to be.
