What do you want people to think of when they think of you? Do you want them to smile or frown? Feel empowered or cower? Jump for joy or back away in repulsion?
This isn’t to say that everyone that you encounter needs to respond to you positively. But “her confidence intimidates me” is different from “her criticisms drain my confidence.”
The right story about you from the right people. Who are the right people, and what do you want them to say? If it isn’t what you want, you might need to make some changes.
